HOW TO READ THE BIBLE

  1. Read the Bible everyday.

The Bible is God’s word. This is how He talks to you. It is like no other book in the entire world. Start with the gospels–Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They tell about the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ into this world–his birth, life, death, and resurrection. It is good to have a man to guide and teach you about the Bible, but in these days of apostasy, it is hard to find a single person to help us on our way. When I began to walk with the Lord, God led me to read his word with great interest. I would hear preachers and meet different professing Christians and could tell if they were right or if they were wrong. YOU NEED TO READ YOUR BIBLE AND PRAYING GOD BECAUSE THE an answer you need will come from God’s word.

2                                                              READ A BIBLE

:While you read bible it’s only way to build your faith and encourage you to adopt a moment-by-moment lifestyle.( wish I to share with you what the scripture says about everlasting life witch is in Christ Jesus our savior ).

YOU KNOW WHY your LIFE STILL IS MY CONCERN! The special features of the bible will enable your walk with God.

HOW TO USE THE BIBLE

A question we are often asked especially by young Christians is this: why do I need to read the bible?

We need to read the bible in order to know not  only God’s mind for the future but how to develop a daily walk with Him..(true)

God uses His word to change people’s lives and bring those lives into deeper relationship with Himself and greater conformity to His will.(perfect)

Forever good things now I have spent hours every week reading and studding the scriptures .God has used this book to transform my life and to give me a sense of security in a shifting and Insecure world. How do we read the bible? Do we just start at genesis and make our way through to the book of revelation?

There are many ways to go about reading the scriptures, let us mention the three most  popular approaches.

I myself took this decision after  reading the every day with Jesus book one year devotion . and God’s sprite led me exactly in this vision. I can’t say it is complete as I should do but I still exercised.

The great advantage of following a reading plan is that your reading is arranged for you in a sense you are being supervised.

You are not left to the vagaries of un certainty  what shall I ready where shall I begin at what point shall I end?

Second approach is to threat your way through the scriptures by following specific theme. it’s quiet staggering how many themes can be found in scriptural and what great spiritual rewards can be had by acquainting yourself with them.

A third approach is by reading through a book of the bible. This enables you to get into the mind of the writer and understand his message.

Every book of the bible has something unique and especial to convey and as with an book, this can only be understood when you read it from start to finish.

It is important to remember that all reading of the bible ought to be preceded by prayer. This puts you in a spiritually receptive from of mind.

To receive what God has to say to you through His word.

-the bible can be read by anyone but it can only be understood by those whose hearts are in- union  with God those who come into a personal relationship with Him and who maintain that relationship through daily or regular prayer.

This is how the bible puts it:; The man without spirit does not accept the things that come from the spirit, of God for they are foolishness to Him and He cannot understand them.

Because they are spiritually discerned’’

1CORINTHIANS:2:14

PRAYING BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BIBLE SHOULD NOT BE A MERE FORMALITY .

It is not the act that will make the bible come alive but the attitude.

Prayer enables us to approach the scriptures.

If we are grow in the Christian life then we must do more than just read the bible- we must study it.

This means that we must give time to poring over it, considering it, thinking about what it is saying to us and assimilating into our hearts, and minds it is doctrine and it is ideas.
